Quickenberry Lodge and Guesthouse is located on Terrace Downs Golf Resort right beneath Mt. Hutt in the High Country of Canterbury in the South Island of New Zealand. It is on the doorstep of an exciting and largely unspoilt und undiscovered adventure playground high above the Rakaia river extending in one big sweep right up to the snowcapped Southern Alps of New Zealand.

The sun is shining on a cold winter’s day. The air is crisp. Mt Hutt glistens in the distance beckoning to its slopes. A fun day to be had. A winter storm is raging outside. Snow falls heavily. An invigorating walk. The fire blazes inside. Curling up with a book, cosy and warm and a glass of wine.

Whatever you might experience staying at Quickenberry will not disappoint you. It is an ideal place from which to ski Mt. Hutt or Porter Heights or maybe even Mt. Olympus, a lovely club skifield about an hour’s drive.

Our package includes three nights accommodation, three breakfasts and one four course meal for two of delicious food cooked by Swiss owner chef and presented by Christine who have received many awards for their cuisine and hospitality. The price is $700.00 for two people.
